Welcome to ResumeForge. By creating an account or using our website or Chrome extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What ResumeForge is

ResumeForge is an AI-powered tool that helps you create resumes, match to roles, search jobs, tailor resumes to job descriptions, and — via an optional browser extension — auto-fill job applications. It is a productivity aid, not a recruiter, employer, or guarantor of any outcome.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
You must provide a valid email and use the service only for lawful, personal job-seeking purposes.
You may not share, resell, or use the service to apply on behalf of others without their consent.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the resumes, profile data, and other content you create or upload. You grant us a limited licence to process and store that content solely to provide the service to you (including sending relevant parts to our AI provider to generate your documents).

4. Acceptable use

Do not provide false information, impersonate others, or submit applications you are not authorised to submit.
Do not attempt to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
Do not use the tool to violate the terms of any job board, employer site, or third-party platform.

5. The Auto-Apply extension

The extension fills application forms at your request and leaves the final submit action to you. You are solely responsible for reviewing every application before submitting it, for the accuracy of its contents, and for complying with each job site's own terms. ResumeForge does not submit applications automatically and is not responsible for the outcome of any application you choose to send.

6. AI-generated content

Resumes and other content are generated with AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You must review and verify all generated content before using it. ResumeForge does not guarantee that any resume will be accurate, ATS-compatible, or result in interviews or offers.

7. Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It is an evolving product and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without notice.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeForge and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost opportunities, or job outcomes arising from your use of the service. The service does not provide legal, career, or financial advice.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product develops. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
